Chabad of Rural Georgia is glad to help all travelers visiting the Blue Ridge area, however, being 2 hours away and focusing on focusing on the rest of the state at the same time, we are limited with what we can provide.

WEEKDAY MINYANIM AND SHABBOS MINYAN

To help coordinate Minyanim in the Blue Ridge area, please complete this form with your traveling information. Once you submit the form you will see info from other travelers who submitted the form.You can also see the submissions here.It will then be up to all of you based on the info people provide, to arrange a Minyan or Minyanim, decide on the time and place.Once you set up a Minyan please let Rabbi Markovits know via text (404-596-8145) so the website can be updated accordingly.

There is not much we can do to help for a Shabbos Minyan. Tell us if you make it work.

KOSHER FOOD

There are no Kosher restaurants or kosher grocery stores in the greater Blue Ridge area. Kosher dairy products, meats and Pas Yisroel items are hard to come by. If you’re driving, stock up before you head over.

Of course, you can search the local supermarket chains for kosher stuff. You'll find something. 

If you’re coming from Atlanta, there are kosher options there including: The Spicy Peach, Kosher Gourmet, EB Ghost Kitchen for catering, and various Kroger locations.

MIKVAH

For now the closest Mikvah is in Chattanooga (about 82 miles away north west) or in Atlanta (about 95 miles south).
